about me

Amber McMillan is the Canadian author of This Is a Stickup (Wolsak & Wynn, 2022), The Running Trees (Goose Lane Editions, 2021), The Woods: A Year on Protection Island (Nightwood Editions, 2016), and We Can’t Ever Do This Again (Wolsak & Wynn, 2015). Her work has won a Penguin Random House award for fiction and has been shortlisted for the Montreal International Poetry Award, The Fiddlehead Poetry Book Prize, the Fred Cogswell Award for Excellence in Poetry, and the Atlantic Book Awards. She lives in New Brunswick on Wolastoqey/Maliseet territory.
